The “Computerized College Scheduling System” is a robust software solution designed for academic institutions, school administrators and scheduling coordinators responsible for managing class schedules, periodic exam schedules, mapping of faculty assignments and room utilization. Developed specifically for colleges and universities in the Philippines, this scheduling system simplifies complex scheduling tasks by integrating automated timetable generation, faculty load balancing, and scheduling conflict resolution into a single platform designed for computers running on the Windows Operating System.
This software can be deployed as a standalone program on a single computer or scaled across multiple workstations within a Local Area Network (LAN) to accommodate larger academic offices and administrative teams.
The Computerized College Scheduling System has enabled our client to address scheduling inefficiencies and conflicts in room utilization due to manual scheduling. The CCSS also improved the overall efficiency in the distribution of faculty workload and the generation of per-block class schedules and individualized teacher schedules.
By implementing this information system, the client have benefited from:
Generation of conflict-free class schedules, exam timetables, and individual faculty assignments are now made possible with the CCSS - with minimal manual intervention! Block schedules and individual schedules are can now be easily generated and managed once the need arises.
Mapping and allocation of classrooms, laboratories and lecture halls based on course requirements, time requirements and student capacity
can now be performed efficiently. Conflicts in scheduling due to manual mapping activities are now eliminated.
Balanced workload distribution for instructors without scheduling conflicts can now be performed in a few minutes. Modification of corresponding instructor, room and subject schedules in response to changes, such as faculty availability or room reassignments, are now possible too!
The Computerized Scheduling System is powered by the following platforms and technology providers:
