The “Retail & Distribution Management System” is a comprehensive information system for businesses and individuals who are involved in the retail and distribution of physical goods. Initially developed for retail stores, distribution warehouses and fullfillment centers; this software solution aims to streamline their day-today operations by integrating inventory management, sales tracking and transaction processing, reports generation and supply chain management into a single software solution designed for computers running on the Windows Operating System.
This software solution can be deployed as a standalone program on a single computer, or it can ba scaled to multiple workstations within a Local Area Network (LAN).
The “Retail & Distribution Management System” enabled our client to solve their internal issues with their inventory valuation, credit sales monitoring & collection thru the use of this software solution. The deployment of the RDMS within their 10-man organization allowed the client to effectively manage their high-volume credit-based sales, manage unsold and sold inventories over multiple locations, and ultimately, initiate a harmonized post-sales collection process that would allow the client to continuously sell products on credit without the fear of going the allocated credit limit per given customer.
Inventory management involving high-volume transactions are made easier with the RDMS. Sold products can now be delivered in batches without the fear of overselling product stocks that are already allocated in a different transaction.
Partial payment collection covering multiple credit transactions between individual clients on a given sales period can now be processed efficiently. Overdue accounts can now be identified easily, too; less fuss and headaches for credit-based transactions!
All products, whether sold or unsold regardless of their physical location, can now be identified and valued for marketing and accounting purposes - helping the client make better financial and stock management decisions.
